These rules apply to every area of the eAustralia forums(forums, comments, private messages, etc).
[1] Absolutely NO FLAMING OR NAME CALLING. Mutual respect and civilized conversation is the required norm. Please keep profanity and gratuitously inflammatory language to a minimum, any excessive un-called for language will be removed and you will receive a warning. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.
[2] DO NOT post anything ironically, satirically, humorously, or blatantly racist or sexist in nature. Hate speech of any kind is forbidden.
[3] NO SPAM. Spamming unsolicited advertisements anywhere on the forum will get you banned. Repeating previous topics or any topic that is deemed extremely similar to a previously discussed item WILL be treated as SPAM and removed from the site. This includes the quote function (no excessive quote pyramids) and the report system (to be used only for genuine problems/concerns). Moderator's judgment applies here as to what constitutes spam.
[4] NO PORNOGRAPHY! We would like to keep the forum a "family-safe" environment. No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes linking to such material. Moderator's judgment applies here.
[5] Do not post PERSONAL INFORMATION (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords, personal identification numbers, images) or any other information considered private without the express permission of the individual. You must respect the privacy of other members.
[6] You will not discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. Links provided to locations that deal with any such activity are also expressly forbidden.
[7] MEMBER DISPUTES. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. The forum Admin reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members.
[8] If your Thread/s or post/s have been deleted DO NOT create a thread whinging about it, as it was done at the moderators or admins discression, this may lead to your being put onto post moderation or worse case banning from the forum.
[9] Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin via the helpdesk. The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.
[10] Abuse of any forum staff will not be tolerated. Mods and admins spend countless hours to keep things running smoothly, and anyone abusing the staff for any reason may find their access to the forums will be removed.
[11] No SHOUTING (Posting in all capital letters) Especially in thread titles. It's hard to read and just plain rude and annoying.
[12] No THREAD HIJACKING. Start another thread if you have a different topic. NO NECRO-POSTING, ie posting in a thread that has not had new posts in a while.
[13] POST to the forum that is most appropriate for the topic being presented. Threads incorrectly placed will be moved or locked.
Breaking any of the above listed rules can result in the loss of privileges and possible loss of your account. Admin also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.
Admin takes no responsibility for the content of any of the messages posted on the website or the authenticity of its authors.
